Toxic Risk

Toxic Risk

Toxic gases pose a significant risk to personnel in many industries and environments. Exposure to relatively common gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2) and chlorine (Cl2) can be harmful to health in very low concentrations.  Maximum and time-weighted exposure limits are defined for most toxic gases in parts per million (ppm) concentrations.
