Toxic Risk

Toxic gases pose a significant risk to personnel in many industries and environments. Exposure to relatively common gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), carbon dioxide (CO₂) and chlorine (Cl₂) can be harmful to health in very low concentrations. Maximum and time-weighted exposure limits are defined for most toxic gases in parts per million (ppm) concentrations.
